Sarah Hamburger is a fibers artist and photographer, originally from New York and currently living and working in Chicago. She graduated from SAIC in 2014 with a BFA in Photography. She works with digital and analog photography, alternative process, embroidery, and printmaking. She currently works at Artists Frame Service as their Digital Restoration Specialist and Printer.

Thematically, her work deals with her personal experiences with C-PTSD and navigating how trauma affects our perception of reality, and documenting that fracture. Other common themes in her work are human interaction within a space, fugue states, and distortion through repetition and process.
