Sarah Hamburger is a fibers artist and photographer. Originally from New York, she currently lives and working in Chicago. She graduated from SAIC in 2014 with a BFA in Photography. She works with various forms of media, such as digital and analog photography, alternative processes, embroidery, and screenprinting.
Her work explores navigating how trauma affects our perception of reality, and documenting that fracture. Other common themes in her work are human interaction within a space, fugue states, and distortion through repetition and process.
